Sales Cycles

In order for couponing to work, you should have a basic knowledge of the sales cycles that stores use. Once you understand the cycles, you will know when most items will go on sale and plan your coupons accordingly. Below is a basic list of the cycles. Remember, some stores can change these or add other things - so this is just to give you an idea!

January
Diet shakes, bars, pills, etc.
Quaker products (granola, oatmeal, cereal, etc.)
Super Bowl party foods (chips, dips, soda, etc.)

February
Valentine's Day candy & chocolate
Canned foods (veggies, fruits, tuna, etc.)

March
Frozen Food Month (almost everything will be on sale!)
Frozen Pizza
Frozen veggies/fruits
Frozen potatoes, pasta, etc.
Easter candy & chocolate

April
Easter Dinner foods (ham, eggs, rolls, etc.)

May
Cinco de Mayo party foods (chips, salsa, tortillas, etc.)
BBQ/Camping foods & supplies (BBQ sauce, hot dogs, chips, bug spray, sunscreen, etc.)

June
National Dairy Month! (almost every variety will be on sale at some point)
