How to Organize Your Coupons
There are dozens, if not hundreds, of websites that all claim to have the "best" way to organize your coupons. But in reality, the best way to organize is the way that YOU choose works best for you. Below, you will find a few of the most popular methods. We urge you find the method that works best for you, or even merge a few methods together. Whatever way you choose, remember to keep your binder with you in the car!
Accordion-Style Organizer
Often times, these are small organizers that you can stash in your purse or glove box. These organizers allow you to use the tabs to file your coupons according to the categories you choose. This type of organizer works great for a beginner or someone who doesn't have a large supply of coupons to organize. Some couponers go the extra mile and use a large accordion-style organizer that you often see in offices. These are large folders that allow you to file coupons or the entire insert.

Coupon Box
You can use a small index card box, a photo box or plastic storage container to file your coupons. Using your choice of tabs, you can create your own categories and file your coupons between the tabs. The methods of organization are endless with this box and this works well, as long as you don't drop your box!
No-Clip Method
This method involved keeping the entire insert in tact, and clipping what you need for your shopping order. Some users type a list of coupons that are available in that insert and place the insert & list in a plastic page protector, putting the newest/oldest insert in the front of their binder. Some users begin their shopping trip by reviewing their store's weekly paper, going through their binder and clipping the coupons that they need. Others simply go to the store and clip the coupons on-the-spot for the items they need.
Coupon Binders
This method involves a binder that has the coupons organized according to categories. Users choose their type of organization for the inside of their binder, and choose the type of holders for coupons. There are many options for organizing your coupons - baseball card pages, currency pages, handmade pages from page protectors, etc. (The picture below shows a binder with currency pages on the left, and baseball card pages on the right.)
